WAX MOTIF feat NEOTERIC - GO DEEP (TORRO TORRO remix)

Great remix for Wax Motif's & Neoteric's "Go Deep" by Torro Torro, from Canada. Lovely vocals and great electro drop. I think this should be one of the summer's best electro tracks:

KOOL KEITH - DRUGS (SWITCH Remix)

Here we have a dark remix by Israelian DJ Switch for this rapper. The track has a great bassline and, in general, this work reminds me of Crookers' style, so here you have some "Drugs" for you:

Kool Keith - Drugs (Switch remix) on Youtube and Hulkshare (Download)

NERVO - YOU'RE GONNA LOVE AGAIN (PLEASUREKRAFT "Happily never after" Remix)

"Electrohouse is for the summer". Pleasurekraft has created a great "funky" remix from Nervo's track. You don't know Nervo? You should check for more info because this two hot girls (yeah! and twins!) are much more than two beauties dancing to the music. David Guetta, knowing the potential image from this twins, has put his effort to make them famous and they've already worked with very popular artist such as Afrojack or Avicii

RUSTIE - ULTRA THIZZ

It seems Rustie has being one of the best revelations from 2011. To be honest I've never heard about him until today and I can only confirm all that has been said about this young Scotish artist that is bringing some fresh air to electronic music. After exploring his album "Glass Swords", which is highly recommendable, I'm in love with one track: "Ultra Thizz".

KNIFE PARTY feat MISTAJAM - SLEAZE

Latest Knife Party's EP was released one month ago, but i didn't have the time to hear all the tracks from "Rage Valley", and I've discovered a great example of what moombahcore is. Little by little moombah is influencing great artist such as Knife Party, created by some Pendulum's ex-members:

[DYR #10] DILLON FRANCIS - MASTA BLASTA

Yesterday, after one month, we retook mixtape's section with Dillon Francis. Today, let's bring some new material to "Do you remember?" section with Dillon Francis too. I want to remember the first released hit from him "Masta Blasta" that came out about one year ago. Maybe, you have heard this track before because it's part of Diplo & Friends' intro on BBC Radio. I know it's "the youngest DYR?" ever posted, but I think this guy has talent and is mixing moombathon, electro, house and a lot of genres together with a great result. He is also an "Internet lover": he loves memes and cats (you can check both on his website):

EXTRA: This is how he promoted his latest European tour! Very funny and provocative!

MAT ZO feat LINNEA SCHOSSOW - THE SKY (Extended mix)

Amazing track, a complete journey, 9 minutes really worthy from the beginning to the end. His creator is Mat Zo, a young Londoner DJ (born in 1990). It's Sunday and in it's also a different style from usually posted tracks, maybe it's summer?

SCHLACHTHOFBRONX - APIZACO

I posted a few days ago a great track by Schlachthofbronx, and listening to his album there are some really great tracks, a little bit different from usually posted items in here, but well it's Sunday and relax's and rest's day for most of the people (I'm still resting from Skrillex's visit last Friday to Madrid at Fabrik, really madness!). This track is called "Apizaco" and it makes you feel happy and funny while hearing it:

NICKY ROMERO & ZROQ - WTF!?

Great collaboration between Nicky Romero & this new guy Zroq, both from The Netherlands. Nicky has appeared on this blog but the second one seems to be a great artist becoming famous. Dutch music seems to change too with new rhythms. It's also funny because a few days ago I posted a song with the same title: "WTF!?":

SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA ENDS UP

Swedish trio (Axwell, Ingrosso and Steve Angello) have announced that the actual summer tour will finally be the last tour with the three of them together. There's still dates to be announced, but as they say on their website, it's the end of this "journey".

Capture from SHM's official website

Personally, I think it's a sad new because when anything comes to an end it's a big pity, and it's worst when it was so good and successful. But, for instance, I'm really anxious of hearing them in their future individual projects, because I was a great fan of them individually before they create SHM. Here you can find various post from this trio to celebrate that Swedish House Mafia happened and imagine how their new projects will be:

SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA - GREYHOUND
[DYR #8] AXWELL & SEBASTIAN INGROSSO - TOGETHER
[DYR #5] SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA & LAIDBACK LUKE - GET DUMB

SCHLACHTHOFBRONX feat DOUBLA J - JUEGO

It's Friday and I'm really happy because Skrillex is visiting Madrid and we've tickets to see him and Spanish electro revolution The Zombie Kids that will be "cooling" the show (they act after Skrillex). So I'm warming at home with a new guy that I found thanks to Diplo and Friends with the most unpronounceable name ever... Schlachthofbronx

His style is an unique fussion of bass music, electro, dancehall, reaggeton, moombah that Diplo renamed as "German Dancehall" when he was introducing him. I really loved some tracks from this mixtape, one of them is this "Juego" with great Spanish lyrics. The best way to start the weekend:

ALBIN MYERS - HELLS BELLS

I love this track. A great fast, melodic and dirty bass created by Albin Myers, from Sweden. He has named this track as "Hells Bells" and after hearing it and the drop's bass you'll be happy to go to hell if there's huge tunes like this one!

HUGOLO's TOP 5 MAY:

Well, you already know: I couldn't post as many tracks as I would to lately, so I've decided to cut May's top to only five tracks, but it doesn't mean that quality has decreased... Here you have, and if you like it be sure to check other months top's archive to find some great electronic music:

AUTOEROTIQUE - WTF

Today I've finished my June examinations for the University, so I have plenty of time to hear, discover, mix and post new music. And blogs' big up is that you can retook whenever you want (as a difference with girls :P) and it makes me happy that there was visitors activity even when I was gone (the same happens with girls :P). So, after giving probably the worst info ever in this blog, let's return to music.

There's plenty of material ready to shock the summer, but I really wanted to post this track because Autoerotique has announced a remix contest for this track. The following text has been extracted from the official DIM MAK webpage where you can find all the info:
Dim Mak Records is pleased to announce the Autoerotique WTF Remix Contest. One lucky winner will be selected to have their remix of Autoerotique’s latest single “WTF” featured on their upcoming EP, “EKG.”
Beginning Monday, June 18th all remixers will be able to cast their entries via Dim Mak’s Official Soundcloud Remix Page, with the contest lasting through July 16th.
How to submit your remix:
- The official single, WTF can be downloaded at bit.ly/WTF_Remix.
- Entries must be submitted to the SoundCloud WTF Remix Drop box at bit.ly/WTF_DropBox to be considered a valid entry.
The Grand Prize winner will be featured on Autoerotique’s upcoming EP, and will include a 1-Year Pro Membership to SoundCloud, a Set of SOL Republic ‘Tracks Headphones,’ and an official Dim Mak Records Merchandise bundle.
One Runner-Up will receive a set of SOL Republic ‘Tracks Headphones’ and an official Dim Mak Records Merchandise bundle.
Winners will be announced, July 23rd.
And I wanted to start with this track because I'm planning to be part of the contest and remix this track, which could be my first remix ever! I'm just learning how to use Fruity Loops, and it's not easy, but I think this contest will help me to spend some time to reach the goal of creating something different and listenable. Oh! I almost forget it! The name's track it's "WTF".

PENDULUM FINALLY SPLITS UP

Well, it's such a shame for me returning to post with bad news after a lot of rumours, but I felt that I should remember the best Drum'n bass group in the history after rumours turned into truth... According to NME: "Pendulum announce split":

Pendulum have announced that they have split up.
The Australian dance rockers released three studio albums in a 10-year career, with their most recent effort 'Immersion' coming out in 2010. They have also been a fixture on the festival circuit in recent years, playing over 30 festivals across Europe last summer.
The band's multi-instrumentalist and main songwriter Rob Swire, who is currently touring with his side-project Knife Party, announced the news, writing on his official Twitter account Twitter.com/rob_swire: "There will be no further Pendulum live shows. There are no current plans for a new album in 2013."
Swire also confirmed that Knife Party was very much his priority in a recent interview with Australian radio station Triple J, saying when asked about the future of Pendulum: "The Knife Party thing is going so well we don't really feel like going back to junior school anytime soon."
He continued: "We're having too much fun with this project. It's also great because Pendulum towards the end sort of felt like we were doing it because we had to and that's never a fun way to do music. Whereas Knife Party is pretty much solely us doing what we want to and if no one likes it we don't care."
It looks as though the name Pendulum will still continue to operate, with members Paul "El Hornet" Harding and Ben "The Verse" Mount continuing to book DJ sets under the band's name.
At least, we could still enjoy Knife Party's style, which is greatly influenced by Pendulum. But as I said in the beginning it's such a shame for me... They have really influenced the music I like and I choose them to start "Do you remember" section. It's not worth spending much words talking about them because you can find much more info on the Internet from any I can give you... I'll just post the same track I post in "Do you remember" section and their first released track:
To open "DYR?" I have selected Pendulum. And to be more precise, I have selected the first released Pendulum's song in 2003 which success was the first step to become world-known artist. One decade has past but their sound seems to be unique and exclusive:
